Thistle-Bashing Changed to Dock-Chopping
Thistle-Bashing day changed to Dock-Chopping as our plant expert Sue Everett advised that thistles should be attacked in late June / early July when about to flower, and docks would be more suitable to chopped today.
Thanks very much to Anne C., Judy H. and Claire S. for their hard work in helping to leave a trail of distressed docks behind us in the Sledging and Small fields today. I will send an invitation for a new Thistle-Bashing day soon. Jimm
