Website now more secure
Recently, with ever-increasing concern about data protection and privacy, many search engines (eg Google, DuckDuckGo etc.) have begun to flag addresses in the panel at the top of the screen as "Not Secure" when an SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate is not installed.
From today our website has such a certificate. The address has changed to show this added security from potential attack: https:// is now used instead of http://
ie https://www.sosfrome.org.uk
We consider this to be advisable, even though there is a minimal threat of anyone harvesting personal data via our website.
